About The Worship & Arts Academy
The Worship & Arts Academy is one of the signature highlights of the HOPE First Youth Conference. This dynamic program exposes young people to a variety of creative genres, giving them the opportunity to explore different forms of worship and discover new ways to express their God‑given gifts.

Participants are able to experience and learn through drama, dance, art, spoken word, and other artistic expressions. Whether they are stepping into something familiar or trying something completely new, the Academy empowers youth to grow in confidence, creativity, and spiritual expression.

The Worship & Arts Academy is more than a class it’s a space where young people find their voice, embrace their creativity, and worship God in ways that feel authentic and meaningful to them.
Our Classes
DRAMA
​Our Drama track teaches students how to communicate powerful messages through storytelling, character work, and expressive movement. Youth learn to use their voices, emotions, and creativity to bring biblical truths and real‑life themes to life on stage. Whether they’re new to acting or already passionate about performing, this class helps them grow in confidence and artistic expression.
HIP HOP DANCE
The Hip Hop Dance track gives students an energetic, high‑impact way to worship through movement. Youth learn choreography, rhythm, and performance skills while exploring how dance can be both fun and spiritually meaningful. This class encourages creativity, teamwork, and bold expression — all while keeping Christ at the center.
LITERGICAL DANCE
Our Liturgical Dance track focuses on worshipful movement that expresses reverence, devotion, and the heart of God’s Word. Students learn technique, flow, and the spiritual significance behind each gesture. This class helps youth connect deeply with God while using dance as a form of prayer, praise, and ministry.

We continue to strengthen and expand our Worship & Arts Academy as our youth grow and their interests evolve. Additional creative classes are offered based on participation, gifting, and the needs of our students, giving them even more opportunities to explore their talents and express their worship in meaningful ways.
